A short poem, based on the Columbine shooting:
Hypnotised by Hurricanes
I'm not alone 'cause you're at my side,
Always watching and holding me still.
But more than you, I need a guide,
To calmly listen and help my addiction.
My body's pure, but my mind's a hurricane,
Hypnotised, we're a social contradiction.
Still no-one takes the time to notice us,
Not until we've spilt the blood on history.
No prophet of God could change my mind,
Now we're the new image of columbine.
Quenched by blood and playing God,
We bring our judgement to this world.
Indifference plays no part in this game,
In natures world they all fall the same.
I'm Finally heard, by screaming eyes,
But my silent lips can say it all.
Under Emptiness I can rest my head,
So lonely I stand with my bloody hands.
lover or brother, I don't really care,
Just take me with you, let's end it here.
And a picture to accompany:
